Μεταπολεμικό συσσίτιο

Αθήνα, Μάρτιος 1945.

Waving their cards and grasping their dishes neatly tied in a clean cloth, these small Greek boys and girls wait in front of one of the Near East Foundation Child Feeding Centers in Athens, Greece.

They are waiting to go into the second lunch sitting and have their balanced 600 calories meal of UNRRA rations, which are provided for 6,000 children at these centers.
